During our first meeting, we will try to understand your needs and help you to identify your goals for therapy. Then we will meet weekly for an hour. At first we will build a professional relationship, helping you develop coping skills.
We accept insurance from Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Oxford, United Healthcare and Oscar Health.
We accept electronic payments.
We can give you an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company. They may or may not reimburse you, based on your benefits. You might want to contact them first and ask about out of network benefits.

If you use an insurance provider that we have a contract with, your co-payments are based on your coverage. Please contact your insurance provider and ask about co-payments for behavioral services/mental health/telehealth, deductibles, and any limitations to services.
We are licensed to provide services only in New Jersey. This means that you must be in the state every time we meet.
Therapy benefits anyone seeking help dealing with relationship challenges, difficulties coping with stressors, personal growth, or other issues. During an initial assessment, we'll discuss your goals and determine if therapy is a good fit.
If you feel comfortable and heard during our first few sessions, that's a positive sign. In our initial sessions, focus on whether you feel understood, seen, and at ease. Therapeutic sessions are a safe space. We will always empower you to speak up if you feel uncomfortable.
Be open and honest. Participate actively during sessions. Between appointments, practice strategies that you have learned. Tell us if there is anything that we can do to help you feel comfortable. We are a team, and our goal is to guide you on your journey.
The frequency of sessions depends on your unique needs and goals. Most patients start with weekly sessions, which may decrease as therapy progresses.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. All conversations in our sessions are strictly private, with exceptions only as required by law. We adhere to professional ethical standards to ensure your information is protected and respected.
It depends on your goals and progress. We will regularly review your treatment plan to ensure you're getting the support you need.
We understand the importance of support between sessions. For brief check-ins or concerns, you may email us, and we will try to respond within 48 hours. For complex issues, we prefer addressing them in our scheduled sessions. NOTE: If you are facing a crisis, dial 911 or the new 988, which is a crisis hotline.
